NINTH COMPANY
SYNOPSIS
Military service. Young men from across the country are thrown together, mixed and split into groups. Platoons, companies, battalions – anything can happen…
Bertil Rosencrantz knows how to use his brain. This time he has devised a really clever plan: together with his companions he takes from the rich – i.e. the army – and gives to the needy – i.e. the people who can afford to pay. For a few thousand crowns private Jönsson’s grandfather’s old Volvo can get a new engine, while the army’s new car precariously coughs along with grandfather’s well used engine under the bonnet. Easy money for Rosencrantz and Co, so easy that it is difficult for them not to carry on, especially as the army surplus is just waiting to be exploited… and if someone finds out, then its just a case of bribing the person in question with some of the profits. Because as Rosencrantz says, everyone has a price – you just have to find out how much…
